Index
Wilson Educational Resource Center holdings are listed in the index below as one of three types of materials:
- printed materials
- audio-visual materials
- maps
Materials
Materials are organized in the ERC Library Page according to this hierarchy: Material Type > Topic> Title (alphabetized). Books are labeled according to this organizational schema. An item # ‘s is temporarily assigned to an item, however these numbers change as new items are added, and are meant as a quick tool to locate an item. Printed materials include books, monographs, conference papers, journals, and magazines. Books, audio visual materials, and maps are indexed by topic.
The library index represents some 668 printed materials, 138 audio visual materials, and approximately 85 maps. Most printed and audio visual materials are related to United Nations’ bodies and agencies. However, monographs, journals, and magazines contain themes on popular topics typically concerning UN bodies or operational agencies: children, countries, development, environment, globalization, health, international relations, international organizations, and women. Maps are specific to country, natural history, environment, and regional features. Maps are not prepared for loaning, but will be in the future.
