The Store
The purpose of the United Nations Association Store is to raise funds for UNICEF and the United Nations Association of Southern Arizona education program. The Store exhibits and sells a broad and diverse selection of folk arts and crafts including textiles, ceramics, jewelry, clothing, and sculpture.
The United Nations Association Store regularly sponsors artisans and craftspersons from around the globe to demonstrate the artistic process. These educational events are part of our commitment to the promotion of dialogue and understanding between cultures.
VOLUNTEERISM
The United Nations Association Store, UNA-SA, has enjoyed success for more than 35 years with the help of dozens of dedicated volunteers, our ambassadors to the public. We rely on more than 50 volunteers to lend their diverse backgrounds and talents to not only welcoming and educating visitors to our Center and its arts and processes, but providing information and answering questions about our organization, its activities, programs and services.
A variety of volunteer positions are available, working with the public as well as behind the scenes, providing staff support, preparing program materials, or assisting with press and member mailings, pricing or data entry.
